You know that person who is super handy? DIY is his middle name, he’s happiest when making something, but doesn’t have the space for his tools anymore. Maybe he has an unfinished project lying around the house, or a solid piece of wood he’s always wanted to make into a coffee table.

In the spirit of Father’s Day, we invite you to nominate a special DIY woodworker. He or she could win a FREE 3 month membership to NextFab. We strongly encourage the nomination of any persons with a mentorship role in your life or the lives of others. Teachers, coworkers, neighbors - this is open to our entire community.

One lucky person will have access to our wood department. Instruction and support from a community of experienced makers awaits! Help your nominees get back to their happy place of creating and making!

To enter:

  1. Snap a picture of that bygone project, the incomplete dream, or anything that symbolizes why THIS person deserves the gift of making at NextFab.
  2. Post it to your favorite social media outlet - Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. Make sure to follow us, hashtag #NFFD14 and mention @NextFabStudio.

Three finalists will be revealed via tweet on Father's Day, June 15. They will be invited to make their dream come to life during one month at NextFab. The completed projects will be posted on Instagram, at which point we will have open voting and the maker of the project with the most votes will win a FREE THREE MONTH membership at NextFab!

Don’t fret too much if your nominee doesn’t win! Finalists will receive a NextFab swag bag and a special discounted rate if they decide to become members. Good luck to you and your nominees! We look forward to learning about them.
